This lovely, town house in Velez-Blanco has been well cared for and is ready to move into. It has many interesting features, a roof terrace and space for another patio. It was originally two houses but has been converted into one and is deceptively large. The owner has looked after it very well. The old roof is in about the best condition I have seen in an old town house and the animal/ storage upstairs is also in an excellent state of repair.
It is in a very narrow street typical of Velez-Blanco but close to a wider street where you can park, just a few yards from the front door. There is also access to the house through a back door in the street above.
The house is current configured with three large bedrooms, but it could easily be more. Two reception rooms, a small kitchen and a downstairs bathroom make up the rest of the ground floor. On the next floor are the three bedrooms and up again for the large storage within the roof space. Here you can see just how good the roof is!
One warning, is the house has a number of low doorways and steep stairs which is a result of the conversion from 2 houses into one. It has a lot of charm and character but if you are tall, you may find moving around a bit troublesome!
Outside is a roof terrace and two separate utility rooms, one used as a laundry room and the other has an independent chimney, and this room could easily be demolished and converted into a patio. There are restricted views of the castle behind, and the Muela Mountain in the distance.
In summary this is, without doubt one of the best kept town houses on our books and is definitely in such a condition that you could move straight in. The bathroom is downstairs, the kitchen is small, and the headroom is some places restricted but not withstanding this it is an excellent house for under €40,000.
