It is only 50 minutes by car to the coast (and 5 golf courses) and 20 minutes to the larger town of Albox. Oria is ideal if you want to immerse yourself in authentic Spain but want the security of a thriving ex pat community. The village has swimming pool, 24 hour health centre, various grocery stores, butchers, bakers, bars, restaurants and 2 banks.
